Quag-Shugguth is the name of a powerful Lesser Demon, summoned by Zanbar Bone and fought by the Hero during the final battle of The Port of Peril.
Description[]
Quag-Shugguth is a vile, hideous, eldritch-looking demon described as "the like of which the hero has never seen before".[1] It is a five-meter tall, quadrupedal beast with a massive frame and unnaturally large suckered hands with huge claws, thick greyish green skin covered with protruding red veins, tiny black eyes, and a gigantic mouth filled with two ranges of sharp fangs, opened on six long suckered tentacles; the latter two serving as its primary weapon in battle. It is all but blind, but can feel people's presence and thus does not need to see.
Zanbar Bone summoned it from the Plane of Pain, the central Demonic Plane of the Pit, most likely to serve as a major asset it his army.[2][3]
Zanbar Bone orders it to fight the Hero after they manage to survive the millions of flying, venomous insects he summoned to destroy them.[4] It has 12 skill 13 stamina, making it a very powerful and dangerous enemy.

If the Hero wield the Venom Sword, its anti-demon powers grants them 3 additional skill points, making the battle pretty easy. If the do not, however, the demon's tentacles makes it hard to reach and its hide is hard to pierce with normal weapons, handicaping them of 4 skill point, making the battle considerably dangerous. It must be noted though, that Quag-Shugguth does not share the imunity to normal weapons common among its kind.[5]
