Rahasta, called Rabesh by some classical scholars of Kabeshian disciplines, is a grim place on the northern outskirts of the Wastes of Chaos.[1]
Description[]
In this town the forces of mutation and Chaos are very apparent. The homes of the locals are hovels and inhabitants seem to be half-Human individuals, some having the features of orcs or hobgoblins and some enduring more dramatic mutations which they try to keep hidden. Here, and in the surrounding regions many creatures of many races are mutated. Mutated orcs, dwarfs, men and other unfortunate and chaotic abominations roam here and around. The one inn in Rahasta is The Scapegoat, described as a "den of thieves and brigands".[2]
History[]
Many years ago, Rahasta was attacked by a powerful reptilian monster, called a hydragon. This monster destroyed most of the town's buildings and killed many of its inhabitants. This was the first recorded encounter with a hydragon.[3]
