Ridd was a Gnome living in Mampang Fortress working for the Archmage.
If the Seven Serpents had managed to bring news of the Analander seeking to recover the Crown of Kings, then Ridd would summon guards to capture the Analander near Valignya's room.[1] Should the Analander be carrying a hardwood spear blessed by Colletus, then the attack would fail. The Gnome would whimper in the corner, but the Analander would decide to show him no mercy and kill him too.[2]
If the Seven Serpents had not managed to warn the Archmage, then Ridd would not obstruct the Analander.[3]
