The River Kok is a river in Allansia flowing westwards through Zengis and Fang before reaching the Western Ocean north of Port Blacksand.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8] The River Kok is very wide. It is navigable by large ships, and carries numerous cargo boats, which transport merchants and their goods across Chiang Mai. The river boats are faster and safer than land caravans.[9] The small village of Gilford is located on the banks of the Kok, halfway between Fang and Zenghish.[10] The river's mouth is surrounded by the Marshes of Kok.[11]
