The River of Fire springs from the side of the active volcano Mount Pyre, in Mauristatia. It feeds the Crystal Lake, between Femphrey and Lendleland, bringing strange minerals to it. These react with the steaming lake and form crystals, which are mined by the people of Crystal City, at the source of Chalanna River.[1][2]
