Sabre-Toothed Tiger, also referred to as a Sabre-Tooth Tiger was a type of large and aggressive cat.[1][2]
Description[]
Sabre-toothed tigers hunted prey such as boars or deer, fighting with their distinctive fangs and claws.[2]
Despite or possibly because of their dangerous natures, many humanoid hunters such as cave men would hunt them for their valued pelts, which could be worth up to a thousand gold pieces. Some hill-dwelling cultures chose their chiefs by having them hunt a sabre-toothed tiger, which they then skinned and wore the pelt of as a trophy and a status symbol.[2]
