Samurai are a class of warriors from Hachiman.^[1]^[2] Samurai serve the ruler of Hachiman, the Shogun. The Samurai follow Bushido, the Way of the Warrior, and are masters of Kenjutsu, the Way of the Sword.^[1]

A master-less Samurai is called a Ronin.^[3]

In the Myriador D20 System adaption of Trial of Champions (d20), the Eastern Warlord is described as wearing "Samurai Battle Dress".^[4] This implies the Warlord may have some connection with Hachiman.
