The Sceptre of Iron is from an ancient kingdom of north-east Khul, and indeed it still has an aura of regal authority despite only being made of iron.[1]
It is inscribed with runes which translate as "There should be just one ruler", which perhaps hark back to a day when this area of Khul was ruled as one large kingdom, as opposed to a number of different lands, as it is today.
