Shikome were a species of orc-like humanoids native to Hachiman.[1]
Description[]
They were hairy and smelling of off-butter, with claws, fangs and snouts.
Shikomes would don samurai-esque armor for combat, and arm themselves with well-kept weapons such as spears or maces.
Origins and Distribution[]
They would often be found in the hire of some warlord, such as the obese Lord Tsietsin.
When not employed by others, they would dwell in villages of forty or so shikomes in the mountains. Eventually they would leave again and search for a new spot, the better to avoid the wrath of a shogun or their samurais.
