The Snakelands are arid, grassy plains in southern Allansia. [1][2] The Snakelands are bounded by (clockwise from north) the Border Hills, the Axehead Plains, the Gulf of Shamuz, and an unnamed jungle in Eastern Arantis.[2]
The Caarth have troops based in this region.[3] Several skirmishes have occurred between Caarth and Lizard Man troops, as both sides are trying to annex the region.[4]
In the time before the Splitting of Irritaria, the Snakelands area was part of the Kingdom of Djarat.[5]
