The Zagoulan Snuff Hound was a type of aggressive dog used by the peoples and other inhabitants of the Southern Steppes.[1]
Description[]
They were famed for their incredible sense of smell. They resembled normal dogs very little, having white hairless distended bodies, sharp taloned paws, and strange human-like faces ending a snuffling trumpet shaped orifice, which gave them an incredible sense of smell, hence the name.
Snuff hounds had a weak bite, and would instead use their claws in combat.
They were quite rare, and as such would often be kept of leashes to avoid them attempting to initiate suicidal combats.
