Solinthar is the patron of mariners.[3]
Scholars believe this deity to be the son of Atlan, the messenger of the gods, hence the connection with his patronage. He is the brother of Fulkra, the patron of travellers. He has strong connections also with Hydana, Sukh and Pangara. Near the harbour of almost every port there will be a small shrine or temple to this god where sailors will seek his blessing. Invariably there will also be a small shrine to Solinthar on most large ships. There is a famous temple to Solinthar on Wool Street in the south-western part of Port Blacksand.[4]
