The Spell Gems are a relatively common type of magical trinket used in the Ximoran Protectorate in western Khul. They are glittering jewels of many different colours; each gem gives its owner the power to cast one spell one time. Then the gem vanishes. The spells contained within the gems are divided into three types, depending on which spell casters can produce them: Good, Evil, and Neutral. There are many different kinds of Spell Gems that allow casting different spells.[1][2]
