The Sphinx was a giant creature with the body of a lioness and the head of a woman.
Description[]
She is an immortal servant of the gods of Djarat and is often used as gatekeeper, with the duty of asking a number of questions before giving way or killing the daring trespasser that can't answer. She has also the power of understanding when a mortal is telling a lie. Normal, earthly weapons have no power against her.[1]
