Spirit Stalkers were a type of undead beings that appeared as extremely pallid, ghoulish, decaying humans.[1][2][3]

Description[]

They wore long black cloaks and hoods to hide their horrifying features, and spoke with a hissing voice. They served only people of great power such as the Night Prince Zanbar Bone, acting often as their messengers and most trusted servants, often riding on huge black stallions with fiery red eyes.[4]

Similar to zombies, they were animated corpses, but unlike zombies they had retained their intelligence. It was this that required remarkable power on the part of the animator. The touch of such a creature burned living flesh and they in turn could not be harmed by normal weapons, only by silver weapons or magic. If destroyed, their bodies dissolve in a hiss of thin smoke.

History[]

After the death of Zanbar Bone, several conspired with Lord Azzur to force the stonemason Horace Wolff to carve a cursed keystone that could revive their lord, by holding his wife Luannah Wolff hostage;[5]
