The Stegocephalian was a kind of prehistoric Amphibian from the Portal of Evil, thought extinct long ago in Titan.[1]
Description[]
Stegocephalians appeared as a mix of a reptile and a large toad, with small horns upon their head.
They had extremely prehensile tongues, which they could use to snare and attack prey.
Origins and Distribution[]
They could be found within Khul, where they usually dwelt within caves.
Real World Equivalent[]
Stegocephalians were large, pre-Jurassic amphibians. Although these are doubtless the inspiration for the Fighting Fantasy Stegocephalian, they are rather different looking creatures.[2]
