Strait of Knives

The Strait of Knives separates Kulak Island from Jitar Island and Solani Island in south-east Allansia.

The soil on the coasts of the Straits is poor, and the Straits are often affected by extreme weather-intense heat and droughts in the summer, violent storms and whirlpools in the winter. However, the sea in the Straits is rich in edible fish of all kinds, so many of the inhabitants of the area adjoining the Straits earn their keep by fishing. "Small fishing towns" dot the coast along the Strait.
