Tantalon was the Court Sorcerer of Gallantaria.
Description[]
At the time of taking the leadership of the country Tantalon was a wise but aged man whose loyalty and strategy won the War of the Four Kingdoms.
He took control of Gallantaria after Constain’s death, and he turned out to be a brilliant strategist, his battle plans (and wizardry) having been credited with altering the course of the war.[1] After the conclusion of the War, Tantalon turned his attention to helping Gallantaria recover from the conflict.
Realising he could not rid his kingdom of Evil alone, he issued a set of tasks to all the adventurers in the land. One completed all of the sorcerer’s tasks and was crowned King as his prize.[2] Tantalon died shortly after the coronation.[1]

- Tantalon was originally going to be named Tantalus, until the authors found that it was already a name from Greek mythology.[3]
