Temple Guardians, also known as Temple Guards were mysterious beings found protecting certain sacred areas.
Description[]
The appearance of a temple guardian could vary greatly. For example, a temple guardian of Lhyss (such as a certain one encountered on the Arrowhead Islands) was known to have been dressed in scarlet armor and wielded two short blades in combat, while a temple guardian of Hamaskis could simply appear as a wizened figure with immense spell-casting abilities.
Once any intruders had been slain, the temple guardian would usually vanish as quickly as it had appeared.
Origins and Distribution[]
Temple guardians were thought to be servants of the gods, and would as such be found guarding various temples and holy sites, often even if such an area seemed abandoned or ruined.
