The Aleff is an ongoing group project amateur Fighting Fantasy adventure written by several authors. Inspired by Spectral Stalkers it follows the hero as they are transported through the worlds of Fighting Fantasy. Its first section was published online in 2017 at the Fighting Fantazine Forum and it remains open to entries.

"You spin round to see the face of a gigantic wolf, clear and colourless as a still lake, peering in through the doorway. As you watch, transfixed, the shopfront shimmers and the beast, twice as tall as you, begins to pass through. […]

In desperation, you take out the glass sphere [...] and glance down at it. At the centre is a bird facing you with its long beak opened in a threatening fashion. You fancy you glimpse the silvery word 'Aleff' in the crystal-clear glass. Then the orb darkens."

The adventure in general follows the original rules set down in The Warlock of Firetop Mountain. The hero must also keep track of TRAIL points, lest they fall prey to the Great Beasts.
