Although the article below is based on canon, some of its content is considered extrapolation because it assumes a certain course of events through an adventure that has many possible routes. "Spoiler!" Beware!

"There are magehunters aplenty, men who have sworn to rid the lands of the foul practitioners of the evil arts," but The Magehunter was the hero of the book of the same name, the best at his craft.[1] The Magehunter came from a world where magic was real and dangerous and he was transported through a portal to Allansia[2] by the mage Mencius.[3] The Magehunter killed Mencius and returned to his own world.[4]

Whilst the Magehunter had many other adventures, both before and afterwards, he cannot be the protagonist of any other books in the main series as he comes from a magical world which is neither Titan nor Amarillia. The Magehunter (book) gives some information about this hero's past: "Under the patronage of the Margrave Mechtner, you have become the foremost Magehunter of your age. Orayan the Summoner of Demons, Yurial of Rachsburg, Salome the Warlock's Bride - these notorious sorcerers, and many others, have fallen to you.".[5]
