The Shamutanti Hills are a series of hills to the south of Kakhabad, between Analand and the cityport of Kharé.
Description[]
The Shamutanti Hills mark the border between Kakhabad and the neighbouring countries of Analand and Lendleland .[1] The Shamutanti Hills are large ridges broken by the occasional clump of trees or body of water. [2] They are highlighted in the first book of Steve Jackson's Sorcery! series.[3]
Among the hills, there are five villages which you will inevitably pass, all of which offer an inn, and some of which also offer ale-houses and traders:
Landmarks marked in brackets are "not" technically villages and you will not necessarily pass through them while playing the game.
The Shamutanti Hills also appear in Revenge of the Vampire by Keith Martin (Carl Sargent ).The village of Sharnek is situated at the western fringe of the Hills, near Lendleland. [4] Near Sharnek are the abandoned Bluestone Mines, and the Ghoulcrypts. [5]
