Creation[]
Background[]
“ King Terror stalks the caverns of his undying temple – thirsting for your blood![1] ”
You are an archaeologist who has spent most of the last year trying to find the fabled Temple of the Pharaoh Terratakamen, known throughout the realms of Egyptology as "King Terror" because of the many people who he had put to death during his reign. On a plane flight you spot what may be what you are looking for but are then involved in a plane crash. Escaping the wreckage you decide that rather than wait and do nothing till you are rescued that you will investigate the hidden valley you spotted.
Rules[]
The book in general follows the original rules set down in The Warlock of Firetop Mountain (see Game System).
Equipment List[]
Although it isn't indicated in the text, one presumes the player has some form of backpack at the beginning with which to carry the food, water and any treasure or other equipment they find in the course of the adventure.
Illustrations[]
The illustrations were by Dave Carson. There were 8 full page (or equivalent) illustrations and 6 minor repeated illustrations scattered throughout the text. The paragraphs with a full page illustration were: Title card, 5,1 50, 60,1 78,1 119,1 143 and 156.1
- The illustration in this instance is placed some "distance" from the paragraph in question probably due to reasons of layout.
