- In the adventure "Into the Doors of Eryx" Vladimir Utoshski is mentioned as a famous scientist that, a century before this Stellar Adventures story set in the future, theorised the existence of certain geologic formations (called Stanfield-Utoshski catalysts) that can produce cold fusion, that is the main source of energy for the world of Titan.[1]
- The adventure "Into the Doors of Eryx" is openly an homage to the short story "In the Walls of Eryx" by H. P. Lovecraft and Kenneth J. Sterling.[1]
