Throg was a hobgoblin working as a cook in Mampang Fortress.

Description

Assisted by minions, Throg worked out of a kitchen that a human might not have considered pleasant, especially in regards to the smell. Examples of her dishes are swine offal and lizard entrails.

She was visually impaired, very harsh towards her staff, and had the responsibility of keeping the guards fed. However, she considered officers welcome in the kitchen. However, she took any refusal to eat from her kitchen as a personal insult. However, she is completely loyal to the Archmage and will not dare challenge him (or someone who looks like him).

Dealing with Throg

Before dealing with Throg, one should remember that her reputation as a cook is known even to the Fire Serpent, one of the Archmage's divinely created messengers. It will advise anyone with the Serpent Ring to not eat from the larder of Throg.

Accepting her offer

If someone eats from Throg's larder, it is possible that they will eat from a jar of 'Ant Meatballs'. These are actually 'Mutant Meatballs'. Whatever the state of their original interaction, Throg will be horrified if anyone eats from that jar but will not provide them with any help.

Refusing her offer

Throg is more than prepared to defend her honour. If provoked, she will remove her apron and grab a meat-cleaver. An opponent does not have to kill her but simply reduce her stamina to 3, where she will run off and hide.
