Thugruff was a Half-Troll in the service of Zharradan Marr, in charge of the Training Grounds and being trusted sufficiently by the necromancer to meet him face to face.[2]
Description[]
Despite his troll ancestry, Thugruff was very intelligent, and was known for coming up with schemes and plans that further the will of his master frequently and skilfully.
It was supposed that Thugruff came up with the idea of using numbered medallions to identify those in the service of Marr, and was perhaps the highest-ranking of all Marr's servants, surpassing even Vallaska Roue and Darramouss. As proved by his actions during the Trolltooth Wars, he wa a skilled tactician and a brave general as well as a master warrior.
