Brother Tobyn was a Guardian of the Crucible, and the mentor of the Hero of The Gates of Death.
History[]
Although he was old, bald and stooped, he was part of the expedition of Guardians heading to Allansia the bring the cure for the Demon Plague to the High Priestess of Throff in the Invisible City.[1]
Alas, with his acolyte, they were both the only survivors of the journey, and reached the continent not at Kaynlesh-Ma as initially planned, but at Port Blacksand.[2] It was in the city of thieves that Tobyn contracted the plague from a merchant affected by the plague, from whom he died. [3]
