Vermithrax Moonchaser, also known as the Grand Wizard of Yore, is an experienced wizard of great power who lives in the Forest of Yore. He is most famous as the teacher of three famous wizards of Titan: Gereth Yaztromo, Arakor Nicodemus, and Pen Ty Kora.[1]
Yaztromo's pet crow is also called Vermithrax, in honour of his old teacher.
