The Vorpal Sword is described as "radiating shades of blue light"[1] and having a "heavy and sharp blade."[2] It is a powerful magical blade enchanted against demons, granting a +2 skill modifier against one.[3][4]
Trivia[]
The Vorpal Sword was first mentioned in Lewis Caroll's famous satirical poem Jabberwocky, meant to poke fun at overly complicated poetry, in which the hero wields it to destroy the formidable Jabberwock monster. Like many other terms in the poem, its name is entirely made up. Nevertheless, it has become commonplace in pop-culture and Fantasy settings, as a powerful magical blade deadly against monsters, dragons, or as in that book's case, demons.
