Werne was the Chief armourer in the Citadel in Ruddlestone.
Description[]
He was tutored in his trade by the armourer Rastin.[1] Werne was a "broad, well-built man", and was usually seen "stripped to the waist and wearing a leather apron".[2]
His armoury, where he worked with a team of weaponsmiths, metallurgists and engineers, was in a cellar beneath the citadel, and it was here that they made and repaired weapons and armour for the Templar Knights.[2]
