The White Dragon (also known as the Ice Dragon) is undoubtedly the most unpredictable of all Dragons, attacking anything on sight in order to continue stocking up their vast larders, for in the frozen wastes in which they dwell, they can go for months without seeing anything at all. They will usually use their own breath to freeze the bodies of their victims, thus ensuring that they will remain attached to the larder walls, and will claw them out when they need to eat.[1]

Origins and DistributionEdit

They prefer to inhabit vast caves or castles carved from the ice itself, which enables them to keep just warm enough to survive, even though a White Dragon is only able to live in sub-zero temperatures.

The typical White Dragon will grow to about twenty-five metres in length, and their scales are a brilliant white. They have a pair of short horns stretching horizontally outwards from either side of their skull, and a pair of downwards-curving horns extremely similar to those sometimes seen on a Red Dragon. They also have a row of long spines down their back, ending a short distance down their tail.

As with all Dragons, their wingspan is easily that of their full length, and their tongue is not forked, which is a common misconception. However, their eyes are still dangerous to look into without permission, as they can easily hypnotise a man or crush his spirit.

Special AbilitiesEdit

  • A White Dragon has ice for its breath, leading to its alternative name "Ice Dragon", and using it every other turn. It will hit on the roll of 1 or 2 on one die, causing 5 stamina damage from an Adult Dragon and 3 stamina damage from a Young Dragon.
  • The majority of White Dragons can speak several languages, of both humanoid and animal races, and many Adults are apt to possess some magical ability also.

Further NotesEdit

  • As White Dragons are only capable of surviving in sub-zero temperatures, so extreme is their development, this means that whenever a Conclave is assembled, it must be in their territories, effectively granting them arbiter status during that time.
