Woodlings are a small statured humanoid race that can be found within the Forest of Yore and other great wooded areas.
Description[]
Standing a little over a metre tall it has been suggested that they may be related to the Dwarf, but given their propensity towards forest dwelling as opposed to a life underground and a distinct lack of interest in acquiring precious material; it is likely they were once humans who have shrunk in size over time in the isolation of their forest homes.
Woodlings were wary of all other races and rarely interacted with non-woodlings, regarding them in an unfavourable light as either destructive or troublesome or both.
Woodling settlements would usually consist of several small huts huddled around ancient tree-trunks from woven branches and roofed with large leaves.[1]
They were sometimes preyed upon by fog devils.[2]
