The Year of the Deer is the eighth in the twenty year cycle of Titan, shared across all civilised cultures and many semi-civilised ones.

It is said that a person born during the Year of the Deer is skittish and nervous, finding the making of friends difficult, though not unwanted. However, they are able to provide stronger individuals with something vulnerable and weak to protect, and are sensitive enough to detect the slightest of changes. Astrologers claim that good matches for a Deer Person can be found among those born in the Years of the Lion and the Wolf, whilst the worst are to be found among those born in the Years of the Crocodile and Shark.
