The city of Zengis is the capital of the province of Kaypong. Zengis sits on the River Kok, north of the Moonstone Hills, south of the Icefinger Mountains and west of the Forest of Fiends.[1][2]
Description[]
Zengis is a town with old buildings and cramped streets.[3] Zengis is nicknamed "the City of Wares". Zengis has the largest concentration of temples, clergymen, and clergywomen in Allansia.[4]
Zengis is the terminus for a trading caravan route that runs down to Salamonis.[5] Zengis also trades with Sardath in the east.[6]
Zengis is also home to a group of deadly female warriors, who call themselves the Zengian Ultras. There is an encounter with a Zengian Ultra in Assassins of Allansia.[7]
Baron Kognoy, the ruler of Kaypong, usually dwells in Zengis.[8]

- Helen's House - A Inn run by the garrulous Obigee.[10]
- Pets-Normal and Unnatural - A Pet Shop that sells various animals, some rare.[11]
- Max's Marauders - Headquarters of a group of mercenaries led by Max, a female warrior of high skill.[12]
- Celestial Hall - a temple to the Goddess Asrel, under the control of the High Priest Fhan Myorang. The largest place of worship in Zengis.[4]

- Oldoran Zagor - According to the sage Ellagrim Grimalkin of Fang, the notorious Warlock of Firetop Mountain was born in Zengis[13]
- Shareella - the Snow Witch was born and raised in Zengis[14]
- Thugruff - Half-Troll and friend of Vallaska Roue[15]
- Covax - Wizard of Zengis[16]
- Jella - Half-Elf Apprentice to Covax, and an adventurer in her own right[16]
- The Big Belly Man - Champion contestant in Zengis' pie-eating competition[17]
- Enk, Jip and Laz - Vagabonds from Zengis[18]
- Morn Preeler - Adventurer from Zengis[19]
- Shannock - Overpriest of Zengis. Infamously murdered despite being protected by 100 guards; it was rumoured that Jamut Mantrapper carried out this crime.[20]
